Charities
ATA is delighted to annouce that in 2011 our chosen charities are Macmillan Cancer Support and Help for Heroes. We will run several internal more events and maximise fundraising opportunities to help raise as much money as possible for these two very worthy causes.
We also encourage staff to undertake fundraising activity to raise funds for these charities and their own chosen charity and below are a list of some of the fundraising that has already taken places.

What exactly are you doing – 10k Run (race for life)
When is it – Sunday 17th July 11

A comment about it – Girls across the UK will be walking, jogging or running 5k or 10k to help beat cancer.
ATA’s Claire Verrall and Gavin Morris completed the ITEX Challenge in June.

What did you do – ITEX Challenge
The walk is a 48.1 miles coastal route incorporating 10,000 steps, numerous cliff climbs and a 9 miles beach walk. Starting at 3.00am our aim.

How much did you raise - £1,186.00
A comment about it – Finished in 15 hours and 8 minutes.... worst walk I’ve ever done!
