ATA Recruitment Employees Hit the Red Carpet to Celebrate 09 Successes

ATA Recruitment’s employees donned their best red carpet outfits for a stunning award ceremony to celebrate their achievements throughout 2009. The awards night and four course dinner was held at The Derby Conference Centre, a sister firm of ATA, within the RTC Group.

The awards served to recognise the extensive achievement of recruitment consultants, support staff and directors alike, who as a team, had helped position ATA to remain buoyant throughout what had been a difficult year for many recruitment businesses. The night also provided the first occasion for fellow RTC Group companies Ganymede Solutions Ltd. and Global Choice Recruitment Ltd. to be recognised in a joint celebration of the group’s extensive recruitment and labour supply capabilities.

Big winners on the night included Oliver Wright of Ganymede Solutions who won the accolade of Top Consultant, bringing in over £200,000 of business throughout 2009. Oliver was closely followed by Mark Lamb of ATA Rail who scooped the Top Rail Consultant prize, and Steve Rawlingson and Chris Deverson of ATA Selection who were rewarded Top Permanent and Top Contract Consultant respectively.

The ceremony was not only a recognition of individual achievement, but teamwork, which is essential to ATA’s recruitment philosophy. Top Team Awards were presented to the most profitable Permanent and Contract regions within ATA Selection; Newcastle and Manchester respectively, and to Ganymede Solutions for Top Vertical division team.

Samantha Powell, RTC Group Marketing Manager also picked up an Outstanding Achievement Award for her contribution to helping the teams bring in new business, and being an integral driver of ATA’s strategic refocus into key operating divisions throughout the past year.

She remarked; “We have a phenomenal amount of talent within ATA Recruitment, and the RTC Group as a whole, and tonight has showcased that. The Derby Conference centre did an outstanding job by providing a beautiful meal and perfect setting for us to recognise the progress the group has made over the last year.”
