My background in recruitment
I started off my career in sales within an Estate agents but a close friend got me in touch with a few recruiters and I quickly realised this is the sales environment I needed to be in. I have now 3 years’ experience within recruitment and very much enjoying my role and look forward to moving up the ranks in the future.
I have recruited for huge list of different roles over my time in recruitment and have really prided myself on knowing as much as possible within each sector of engineering such as Food, FMCG, Aerospace, Automotive, Logistics and Medical to assist in any needs clients or candidates may have.
I specifically recruit for Maintenance roles within the southern areas of the UK these roles range from Apprenticeship level up to senior management levels across all platforms of service and maintenance within Engineering.
I can help you with
My role as a recruitment consultant is split between my clients and my candidates, I speak with on a day to day basis. I have a solid number of years’ experience within recruiting for the engineering sector and this provides me with ability to put client and candidate together so much more efficiently and quickly to save time and ensure it is the right match first time round.
With the industry knowledge I have gained over the years I have the ability to provide valuable information to clients on the current market conditions to ensure we get the best match for candidates that they are after. I have gone through intensive training on the best ways to assist candidates with the top tips on interviewing as a lot of candidate who stay with companies for a long duration don’t have much interview experience, so it is great to be able to provide the best techniques to give them the best opportunity in getting a new role.
ATA have a great reputation with going above and beyond for cliental and candidates and its important I focus on delivering the same attitudes and values myself.
The best part of my job
I work in sales, so I have to like a challenge and things change on a daily basis! But that also comes into the reasons why I enjoy this job so much, getting to work with some of the best companies in the country and speaking with the highest talent of candidates on the market, they is always something to learn and it helps me develop as a young professional in my personal life to.
I love the opportunities that this environment and ATA can provide with hard work, it’s an environment where you get out what you put in, so it’s a very motivating job to be in.
