My background in recruitment
I have worked in engineering recruitment for 15 years, so I have a broad understanding of the challenges facing engineering/manufacturing businesses in getting the best talent. I have introduced candidates for roles from the shop floor to senior level, mainly within SME businesses. My primary focus is to partner with organisations and role candidates, to simplify the process, in recruiting “white collar” specialists at mid to senior level.

I work on a limited number of projects to ensure timely and accurate results for everyone involved in proceedings. I set clear project plans with transparent milestones for the recruitment process. This means working in an open manner with clients and candidates to identify, not only the positives, but the risks and challenges; in effect, reducing lost time interviewing and screening CV's, to ensure that the person in the role can excel and add value.

The best part of my job
Solving problems: I really enjoy working together with my clients in an open and honest way to get to a workable solution. Often this involves trying new methods of working and its very satisfying to be part of.
What I do when I'm not in the office
Spending time with my wife and daughter, cooking (and eating), BBQs, curries… I also enjoy going to the gym, reading and the Xbox.
