CNC MACHINIST - IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT!
North Yorkshire
6-month contract - £20.00p/h (PAYE) or £25.00p/h Umbrella
Precision Engineering / Machining / bespoke / O&G / marine
I am recruiting for a key client, who are a highly reputable engneering company in North Yorkshire, who are recruiting for CNC Machinists, on a 6-month contract basis, to assist with high precision machining projects. My client is a leading OEM within precision marine and O&G engineering markets, supplying a high end / high value product to their customers globally.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
v Operation of Mazak, 4 & 5 axis milling machines - highly desireable
v Programming on Mazatrol controls and on Nexus 510C & VTC800 would be advantageous
v Ability to read and interpret precision engineering drawings
v Inspection of components
v Working on aluminium and stainless-steel materials
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Experience within masak machines and Mazatrol controls – working small batch/one off's
v Ideally apprentice trained or formal machining engineering qualifications
v Excellent communications skills with both colleagues and clients
v Strong computer literacy – Microsoft, excel etc
v A team player, with a right first-time attitude, and strives for excellence
