** Contracts Manager - Electrical Process **
Rate: £45.00p/h - £60.00p/h gross DOE
6-month contract – outside IR35

Our client:
Our client is a leading UK Engineering, projects, and installations company, managing EPC projects for major blue chip FMCG/Food manufacturers UK wide. They are recruiting for an experienced Senior Projects/Ops Manager, for an initial 6-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.
They are looking for an Senor Projects/Ops Manager to join their team on a contract/interim basis to lead key project installations & teams, ensuring client requirments are met.
For the position of Contracts Manager - Electrical Process, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
- Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead the development of projects from initial costings & quotations, design review, through to installation, commission and hand over
- Liaising with the client – site survey, design review, concept, quotations to completion
- Assessing all electrical and Process (capital equipment) existing site systems and set-up
- Reviewing AutoCAD based drawing (mods? / Tech dimensions?)
- Authority on all plant installation projects
- Overseeing teams and site, making sure they have everything
- Managing major key clients (value ranging - £200k-£300k), circa half-a-dozen projects at any one time
- Updating costs and programmes – working passes (Checking timesheets)
- Ensure all site H&S aspects are considered - site RAMs / Permits
The successful Contracts Manager - Electrical Process will need to have the following attributes:
- Apprentice trained ideally to NVQ L3/HNC Electrical Engineering minimum
- strong site project Management background
- In-depth Food Industry process(capex projects & site equipment installations) experience (NOT CIVIL/CONSTRUCTION)
- A strong communicator, Leader, organised, flexible mindset, strive for excellence
- Travel covering all North and possibly up to Scotland (allexpenses paid)
- Working on site 5 days a week – part of the team
