The Company:
My client is an international market leading manufacturer of process plant machinery. The equipment is bespoke to the customer requirement and sold all over the world. They have an experienced and settled design team and are looking for an experienced design manager to lead them.
The Role:
The design manager will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and develop a team of mechanical design engineers
- Check and prioritise workload
- Put processes in place to monitor and improve performance
- Manage the day-to-day drawing office activities
- Implement and drive product development projects
Required Experience:
- Mechanically qualified engineer from a design background
- Understanding of 3D design software, ideally solid Works
- Design for manufacturing experience
- Experience of leading a team of engineers
