Electrical and Assembly Technician
Coalville, Leicestershire
£14.50 p/h plus x1.5 overtime rates
Standard Hours: 6.30 am – 2.30 pm (Mon – Thurs) & 6.30 am – 2:00 pm (Fri)
6-months temp to perm
You will be responsible for the following:
- Wiring of production plants on the assembly lines assisting with the fitting of electrical systems
- General Assembly, Hydraulic, mechanical fitting
- Trouble shooting software problems and electrical faults
- Cataloguing and analysing system non-performances
- Actively minimise plant downtime in support of production by responding quickly to production line breakdown situations when required
- Reading of electrical drawings
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- A Third Level Electrical Engineering Qualification or Vocational Time Served Electrical Qualification including City & Guilds 18th edition
- Experience of 3-phase and 12-24VDC electrical control systems
- Ability to read, understand electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Experience of electric system installation and wiring on plant equipment in a high volume production environment
- A full driving licenses
- Ideally you will have knowledge of automotive electrical and hydraulic schematics and significant experience of electrical fault finding and diagnostics within a manufacturing environment.
