Electrical Maintenance Engineer – West Yorkshire
2-3 month contract
£30.00p/h - fixed nights

I am recruiting exclusively for a key client based in North Yorkshire. They are looking for Maintenance Engineer electrically biased, to assist with general maintenance work, covering nights 10pm – 6am, working Sunday to Thursday.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Reactive maintenance and PPM, on all electrical aspects of machinery, robotic handling and capital equipment including palletisers, wrapping machines etc – fault find and repair
v Fixing fast paced industrial production machinery (control panels, circuits, 3 phase power, wiring, PLC faults etc)
v Working safely and make recommendations for improvements
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
v Health and Safety awareness within a food production environment
v Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality
v Experience within fast paced food production environment
v Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors
v Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified minimum to NVQ L3
