Electrical Maintenance Engineer
£36,000-£38,000 + Pension + OT + Bupa
Based in Huddersfield
The Company:
Established for over 50 years, this business is part of an international manufacturing group. The site in Huddersfield has been part of a large investment project over the last few years and encompasses state of the art fully automated machinery.
The materials they produce are used have many applications from textiles to food, so the company is extremely secure and future proof.
The Role:
Working Regular days Monday to Friday the electrical maintenance engineer will conduct planned and reactive maintenance across the plant. This includes production machinery and industrial site services.
The role is 70/30 electrically biased with the electrical maintenance engineer expected to support the mechanical maintenance engineers where they can.
Electrically you will be working on complex systems, drives, controls, motors, invertors, instrumentation, and PLC’s
Mechanically the site ha a lot of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, and special purpose machinery.
Required Experience:
- The ideal electrical maintenance engineer will be apprentice trained
- Experience of working on an industrial manufacturing plant
- A team player with strong communication skills
