Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Afters - 2-10pm
£38000 - 42000 (OTE £45k) + discount off retail products + generous pension + company wide bonus + onsite parking
ATA Recruitment are supporting a multimillion-pound food manufacturer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. They have 5 sites in the UK with the largest one being in Leeds. The group currently turnover £121million and are on track to increase to £125m by the end of 2025. They supply into some of the biggest retailers and manufacturers of which have become a key client across the food sector. The engineering department currently operate on a split shift pattern of earlies, lates and nights and are now requiring an additional electrical maintenance engineer to work on the lates shift.
The Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Maintain all key production equipment and lines
- Fault find using a multi meter
- Communicate all unscheduled downtime to the engineering manager with the reasons and solution
- Re-order appropriate parts in line with the engineering agreed budget
- Ensure you follow the company’s Health and Safety regulations
- Ensure you liaise and communicate all updates and faults as and when they arise
About the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Must hold a recognised electrical qualification; Apprenticeship/BTEC/City & Guilds
- Demonstrate strong electrical and mechanical fault findings
- Strong Health and Safety awareness
- Experience within the food industry is essential
- Able to fault find and work with control systems
- You can read electrical schematics drawings and diagnose faults
