Fabricator Wanted – Stable Days Role with Early Friday Finish
We are recruiting for a skilled Fabrication Engineer / Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role within a structured fabrication team, producing high-quality engineered products for specialist industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of metal components to engineering drawings
- Working with sheet metal, including cutting, forming, and assembly
- Ensuring products are manufactured to required quality standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Supporting production targets and project deadlines
- Contributing to continuous improvement and efficient working methods
- Assisting with basic machine maintenance when required
Requirements
- Experience as a Fabricator / Welder / Fabrication Engineer
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG or similar)
- Background in manufacturing or production environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience working with stainless steel or thin gauge materials
- Previous work in food, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries
- Formal fabrication or sheet metal qualification
Salary & Benefits
- £30,500 – £41,800 (structured pay progression)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 38.75 hours
- Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 11:45am (early finish every week)
- Stable, permanent days-based role
