The Company

Our Client is a special purpose machinery manufacturer generating £billion annual sales, supplying machinery to customers nationally and internationally. With their own dedicated design, manufacturing, and service divisions, they provide a total turnkey solution, to their customers and because of recent growth they are now expanding both in the UK and overseas.

Our client has a solid reputation within the UK and has been expanding globally into a number of countries, carrying out projects across Europe, Asia and North America, with sites in over 80 countries. The business is very keen on sustainability and because of this have won numerous awards for their efforts in being a climate aware business.

As part of their growth, they are looking to bolster the UK Field Service team, therefore they are now in the market for an experienced engineer with a bias towards electrical engineering, with a proven track record in either service or maintenance.

The Role

The Field Service Engineer will be attending breakdowns in the UK and on occasion to Ireland. The role will on occasion require the Engineer to assist on Installation and Commissioning projects. The role is tailored for a candidate with an electrical bias, with mechanical work being required.

As part of the role there will be an element of staying away, and it is possible that the engineer will be staying away on average three nights a week.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will also be required to fault find using a Multimeter, read electrical drawings, and although not required it would be advantageous if the Engineer had experience with modification and programming.

The Candidate:

To be successful within this role:

•             Full UK Driving License

•             A recognised Electrical Qualification

•             Must have worked in Plastic Industry
