Role – Field Service Engineer
Salary - £41,500 plus overtime (OTE £50k+) + vehicle + fuel card + expenses
Location – Covering UK Wide (Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK)
Our Client specialise in end of line packaging and weighing systems for the Food and Beverage Manufacturing sector. Supplying to the likes of Arla, McVities and Kerry Foods, they can provide completely bespoke systems depending on their customer’s requirements.
With a turnover of over £100 million worldwide, the business has continued to grow during the Pandemic thanks to the markets they operate in. Thanks to this growth they now require an additional two Service Engineers to join their National Service team.
Covering the whole of the UK, the Field Service Engineer will be required to attend their customer’s site to perform a mix of Reactive Breakdowns and Planned Services on the full range of their machinery. These include Vertical and Horizontal Flow Wrappers, Check Weighers and Multihead Weighers.
Hands on the work is an equal mix of electrical and mechanical tasks, so the Field Service Engineer will need to be confident in both. All their machines are PLC controlled (ABB and Siemens) and the Field Service Engineer will be required to fault with a multimeter through to I/Os, however modification and programming are not required.
The Field Service Engineer will be required to stay away when required depending on where customers are located. All travel and hotel expenses are covered.
To successful candidate will need to have:
- A recognised Electrical Qualification
- Be able to fault find with a multimeter and read electrical drawings
- Must have worked on automated equipment
- Must be willing travel and stay away when require
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
