Job Role – Field Service Technician
Patch – Yorkshire
Salary - £36.7K + OT (OTE £48K)
Hours – Mon – Friday 42.5hrs

Our client is a German business with an annual turnover of £multimillions and specialise in providing full turnkey solutions of special purpose machinery in various industries across the world. Despite Coronavirus, our client has continued to grow over the past three years with their current turnover growing annually for the past 3 years.
Our client has become a market leader in sales and service of furniture, including kitchen and bathrooms. As well as this, internationally as well as domestically our client has a great reputation, with manufacturing facilities across the EU and Asia, while employing over 6500 staff worldwide.
The Role
The Field Service Technician will be required to service and maintain the special purpose machinery across Yorkshire. Most of the work within this role will be mechanical in nature such as working on bearings, pulleys, gearboxes, and hydraulics. However, you will also be required to work with relays, contactors, basic PLC, and other electrical components. As part of the role, the Field Service Technician will also be required to calibrate and commission the machinery.
While the role is focused within Yorkshire, there would be occasions which require the engineer to stay overnight, however this is infrequent. Furthermore, on average the service engineer could be staying away 2-3 nights a week, depending on the duration of the project.
The Candidate
To be successful for this role:
- Hold a recognised mechanical or electrical qualification.
- Must hold a Full UK Driving License
- Must be able to Fault Find with a Multimeter
