My client are looking to recruit a new Health and Safety Manager into a well-established business to make their Corby site the flag ship site. They are leading within the waste management industry and have gone from £50M turnover to £52.2M within 18 months during the pandemic. This role would suit an experienced manager who has proven people management skills and is keen to improve the site to put their own mark on.
As a Health and Safety Manager you will be expected to:
- Look after Health and Safety across the whole site and possibility others.
- Take charge for site risk assessments and site inductions
- Oversee daily site health and safety inspections – E.g. PPE checks
- Follow up accident reports and investigations
- Keep manual handing training up to date
- Manage new starter health and safety presentations and be responsible for site tours.
The successful Health and Safety Manager will need:
- To be a team player and help the site to be as successful as possible
- To hold experience within a fast pace environment. It would be advantageous if this was within a manufacturing FMCG environment.
- It would also be advantageous if you held a NEBOSH qualification.
