Interim Operations Manager – FMCG Manufacturer
£350-£450 per day (PAYE / Umb) – 12 Month Contract
Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire / East Midlands
This globally recognised business has continued to grow over the last 12 months and demand for their product is higher than ever before. The company are looking to install an Interim Production Manager to introduce a variety of methods to help make their manufacturing process more efficient and productive. You will be responsible for the following:
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency of the manufacturing plant
- Introducing new methods and reporting measures to help drive the change
- Leadership of the manufacturing team to improve performance
- Daily team meetings – agreeing the objectives / key focus for the week / setting the tempo for team
- Identifying problems and implementing solutions
- Listen to the team members and the issues that they are facing on a day-to-day basis
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Experienced Production Manager / Operation Manager
- Experience within an FMCG, Automotive, Process manufacturing environment
- Change management capability
- Effective communicator, ability to adapt, direct and be assertive
- Lead by example – set the right standards
