Labourer (Manufacturing Environment)

2 -3 Months Contract / £10 - £11 p/h (PAYE)

This business designs and manufactures a variety of special purpose machinery predominately to the power generation sector. They work with globally recognised clients across the world on both onshore and offshore installations and projects. They are an ever-growing company and have a full order book for 2022. There is now a requirement for 2 Labourers to join the site in Ilkeston. The Labourer will be responsible for the following.
- Working in a busy manufacturing environment
- Using fettling to remove any excess material on mechanical parts
- Performing general labouring duties around the shop floor
- Monday to Friday – Day shift
- Overtime available
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Fettling experience (desirable)
- Skill in the use of power tools
- Previous experience in working with Stainless steel
- Experience in a variety of labouring work in a manufacturing environment.
