LEAD MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
LOCATION: West Yorkshire
SALARY: £40,000K - £45,000K Annual
HOURS OF WORK: - Day shifts.

THE COMPANY
Established in 1996, Our client is a long-standing household name with a strong ethos to match it. They manufacture bespoke products for the commercial and domestic market.
With a £15 million pound turnover each year, and a fleet of 50 staff. Our client is wanting to further expand their engineering team to help fulfil industry demands.
THE ROLE OF A LEAD MAINTENANCE ENGINEER.
The job responsibilities will consist of:
- The daily allocation of work and tasks to the engineers.
- Ensuring staff adhere to the work safety systems.
- Promoting best engineering and health and safety practices.
- Conducting inspections and PPM tasks on machinery and facilities.
- Fault finding and attending to reactive tasks.
- Monitoring the engineering stores and ordering parts.
- Modifying and improving existing PPM schedule’s, as well as working towards a TPM environment.
- Being hands on and assisting team with reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Actively partaking and developing the company’s future development projects.
- Offering training, assistance, and guidance to the engineering team.
THE IDEAL LEAD MAINTENANCE ENGINEER.
We are looking for a lead maintenance engineer who:
- Has a minimum qualification of an NVQ Level 3 electrical or mechanical or equivalent.
- Has 2 – 3 years’ experience working in a supervisory / team leader role.
- Has experience working in a heavy industrial or FMCG background.
- Has strong leadership skills and is confident delivering training.
