Our client completed the design, manufacturing, installation and commission of breweries, distillation, and pharmaceuticals. They are expanding more into the pharmaceuticals market currently. The company was bought by a parent company who have given them an even bigger financial stability than before. There is now a requirement for a Logistics Coordinator to join the site in Burton-Upon-Trent. The Role of Logistics Co-ordinator will involve the following:
- Ensuring components, fabricated parts and completed sections are shipped to the client site successfully.
- Sea freight predominantly
- Ensuring all required documentation is completed and enclosed with the equipment and parts
- Working from client specifications, ensuring that the relevant documentation is created and correct, and all export licenses and permits have been generated
- Working with the engineering team, guaranteeing all other documentation is complete before you sign off the final pack for shipping
- Mon-Fri, 9-5
The Logistics Co-Ordinator will need the following:
- Experience and understanding in Logistics, and associated documentation
- Worked in an export-based environment, either in engineering or distribution
- Have experience with sea-freight/international transportation
- Experience working with limited automated systems
