About the company

We, at ATA, are working with one of the country’s finest manufacturing groups in the Nottingham area namely Newark. Our client, making a profit of over £65 million is extremely successful in the manufacturing sector with this site contributing to over £11 million of that profit. This site produces £2 million units per week and are on track to achieve over £90 million units for the year. The company is a proud employer of over 2000 individuals across 15 different manufacturing plants with 60 employees on site at this particular location. As expected, our client has been undergoing a successful period of growth with vast plans to invest across the active manufacturing plants and upgrading machinery to match the standard

Our client is searching for maintenance engineers in both the electrical and mechanical bias to join their team.

About the role

As a maintenance engineer, your role and responsibilities will include:

  • PPM (Planned preventive maintenance)
  • Repair work and project work alike
  • Breakdown cover
  • Troubleshooting
  • Fault finding
  • PLC work

About You

To be in consideration for this role as a maintenance engineer you should possess the following qualifications and traits:

  • Strong fault-finding ability – requirement
  • Strong working knowledge of either mechanical or electrical components.
  • Considering engineers of all ages and experiences as long as they are happy to apply themselves, possesses the correct aptitude for the job and very open to receive feedback
  • NVQ level 3 or above
