Maintenance Engineer, Earning £47,000, Based in Leicester, Shift: Week 1: Mon-Fri 12 Hour Days, Week 2: Mon-Fri Nights 12 hours, Week 3: Week Off.

We have an exciting opportunity to join a market leading business, who are in the search for a maintenance engineer to join their well-established site in the Leicester area.

The business has been operating for over 15 years and in that period has become a market leader with their turnover reaching over £1 Billion last year and on track to break that number this year. While expanding immensely across the country, they have also been operating at a high level with their sites receiving numerous awards in the quality of their products.

With the firm supplying to a wide range of large companies within the UK, our client has created a loyal customer base with exclusive contracts across the biggest companies in the UK. In doing so they are a very stable company creating a great opportunity for an engineer to join a growing business with an expanding vision.

The Role

The role consists of hands-on maintenance with a mix between electrical and mechanical duties. Therefore, as the maintenance Engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance
  • Reacting to breakdowns
  • Completing remedial repair work across a busy manufacturing site. 
  • Maintaining machinery such as conveyors, mixers, depositors, flow wrappers and bespoke machinery specific to this site.
  • Fault finding on automated machinery

The Candidate

To be considered for this Maintenance Engineering Position, you are required to have:

  • Must have a minimum Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
  • To be comfortable working in fast paced environment.
