The Company
Our client is a huge FMCG manufacturer for the food industry. They are a hugely successful business and have been trading for over 50 years, their business turnover is close to 100 million pounds in the last year alone. Primarily they supply products to some of the biggest retailers in the whole of the UK. Due to successful growth within the business, I am looking for a maintenance engineer excited by the opportunity to work for a multinational business on expensive industrial machinery.
The Role
You will work in a team of four other maintenance engineers on a panama night shift. Our client is proactive in upskilling their engineers and has funded them through relevant qualifications. Your main responsibilities will be as follows.
- Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery.
- This includes packing machines, grinders, mixers, ovens, check weighers, x-ray machines and more.
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
- Working with both electrical and mechanical components such as bearings, chains, gearboxes, pulleys, motors, sensors, relays inverters and more.
- PLC fault finding.
The Candidate
The successful maintenance engineer will have the following skills/attributes
- Industrial maintenance experience.
- A recognised engineering qualification.
- An enthusiastic team player in order to fit into the good team culture present on site.
- Happy to work a permanent night’s shift.
