The Company
Our client is an innovative plastics manufacturer that produce up to 500 tonnes of recyclable plastic per month. They produce this for some of the biggest food companies in the whole of the UK, and are highly successful because of the diverse range of products they can offer. Due to an increase in business I am looking for a maintenance engineer with a passion for CI who is excited to work on industrial manufacturing machinery.
The Role
You will work in a team of 8 maintenance engineers who all report to the engineering manager. Your responsibilities will be as follows.
- Planned and reactive maintenance.
- Maintenance of machinery such as Blow moulders, conveyors, palletisers, wrappers and more.
- Working with a mix of mechanical and electrical components such as motors, sensors, belts, chains, shafts, rollers and more.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following skills/attributes
- Industrial maintenance experience
- A recognised engineering qualification
- Capable of working both independently and in a team
- Strong fault-finding skills
