Maintenance Engineer, £32,000, Double Days, Oakham
ATA is working with a family run manufacturing business supporting them on their search for their next maintenance engineer. The company who was established in the 60s manufacture bespoke products for a wide variety of industries, this can be from toys to retail stores and outlets, to traffic cones and storage boxes. With the consistent development and investment within their facility, there are no limits too what the company can achieve. They have seen the business go from strength to strength over the last few years and now achieve an annual turnover north of £10 million per annum.
About the role
With this role, you will be the working within a small engineering team on the double day shift where you will be tasked with keeping production running efficiently and at optimum performance. You will be responsible for working from the CMMS system to complete ppm’s, process work orders and to keep breakdown time to a minimum. The day to day of the role is split between completing 50% planned and 50% reactive maintenance, with the occasional project work included.
About you
As a maintenance engineer you should be comfortable working safely both electrically and mechanically as this site typically requires 60% electrical work and 40% mechanical work. You must be an excellent fault finder, being able to use the various tools at your disposal to do so. Further to this you must be proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working on your own as this site will require you too.
Electrically you must be confident working within control panels on 3 phase equipment, including motors, relays, inverters, contactors.
Mechanically you must be confident changing bearings, working with pneumatic systems and striping and rebuilding pumps.

- Commutable to the Oakham area of Leicestershire
