An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established systems integration business who has built up an excellent reputation supplying and maintaining automation systems within the warehouse industry.
The company has become one of the leading manufacturers within the industry with a headcount of over 240 personnel across the business and are looking to expand their Maintenance department to help assist with the growth of the company. They are looking to bring on a Maintenance Engineer with the right attitude and skillset to solidify themselves into the current team and drive more success for the team to take the business to the next level of their vision of growth.
Maintenance Engineer Role:
- Performing multi-skilled activities on machinery and equipment mechanical and electrical and work including reactive, planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Ensuring that all work carried out, is in line with current Codes of Practice and take ownership of specific improvement jobs, seeing them through to successful completion.
- Providing effective and efficient support to the manufacturing functions and assist in achieving maximum production efficiency levels with minimum machine downtime.
- Undertake fault finding analysis, identifying root causes of plant or equipment breakdowns, and replacement of parts when necessary.
- Keeping up-to-date and complying health and safety standards.
- Undertaking any other maintenance, engineering or other related work duties assigned to you when needed.
Candidate
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
- Must be able to hit ground running
- Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
- Experience with Fault diagnosis for both mechanical and electrical issues
- PLC knowledge would be advantageous
- Experience of working within a warehouse environment would be beneficial
Renumerations
Salary between £40,000 - £48,000 + Pension scheme + Health Insurance
