This innovative business specialises within the manufacturing of packaged products within food and beverage, the retail sector and the consumer market and are responsible for supplying some of the world’s best-known names millions of units each day. Globally, the company produce a staggering $10 billion worth of sales annually, with the UK arm having a turnover north of £350 million. About the role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
Providing breakdown cover and completing planned preventive maintenance on a high-speed manufacturing site. You will be responsible for maintaining all site machinery, have the responsibility of keeping breakdown time to a minimum, improving machine efficiency and working in conjunction with the groups LEAN and continuous improvement plans.
Further responsibilities include;
- Fault finding
- Continuous improvement and project work.
- Compliance and health and safety.
- Critical stock control
About you
To be considered for the role as maintenance engineer you will need the following;
- Recognised level 3 qualification (Electrical/mechanical)
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer.
- Strong fault-finding skills
- The ability to work within a proactive nature
- A methodical mindset, with the ability to problem solve and adapt within short notice.
As an engineer, you should take pride in your workplace have a passion for engineering and the want to take a project from start and see it through to the end on a long-term basis.
