ATA are supporting a large engineering group at one of their bespoke manufacturing sites in the Wilnecote area. The company employ over 2000 staff across the country and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. With a turnover eclipsing £400 million the business is going from strength to strength and are set to grow even further in 2021.
They are now looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team.
About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing ppm, reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on automated plant machinery, including 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, high speed rollers, cutters, dryers, mixing equipment, kilns plus more. You will be responsible for fault finding on automated machinery, this would be both electrically and mechanically using a range of different techniques.
The company are working towards making the site more efficient so are adopting LEAN manufacturing processes on site, therefor you will be involved project work and making production improvements.
About you
To be considered for this maintenance engineer opportunity, you should have experience working within a factory environment, preferably within medium to heavy industry.
- Experience with fault finding
- Experience working from a CMMS to complete PPMs.
- Experience reacting to breakdowns.
- Engineering qualification
