Role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45k – £52k + Bonus + OT
Shift: DAYS (Tue-Fri, 7:00 - 19:00)
Location: Dunstable
The Company
My clients are a leading food manufacturer that are currently turning over more than £130 million per annum. The company are experiencing massive growth within the industry due to the recent high demand they have experience. Due to this they are undergoing a site expansion with the addition of state-of-the-art production lines to their existing factory. Along with this, the site now requires additional maintenance engineers who are looking for a secure role with a leading FMCG company offering excellent training and experience. Within this role you will be working closely with CMMS to input reactive maintenance and PPM’s in a proper and timely fashion.
The Role
This maintenance engineering role will involve:
- Reactive and PPM maintenance of PLC’s, conveyor systems, mixers, blowers, ovens, packaging machines and conveyors.
- Electrical responsibilities include fault finding and repairing of PLC’s, sensors, relays, contactors, and switches.
- Mechanical responsibilities include fault finding and repair of bearings, belts, gearboxes, shafts, rollers and pneumatics, motors, chains, motors, rollers, sprockets, and gearboxes.
- Working 12-hour days Tuesday-Friday.
The Candidate
To be successful in the application for this maintenance engineer role you will need:
- Recognised mechanical or electrical qualifications.
- Confidence in fault finding on mechanical or electrical components.
- To work well within a team and independently.
- Be motivated in a working environment.
- Be flexible to work 12-hour day shifts.
