Monday to Friday only, 3 - Shift pattern, 1 x week of 06:00 – 14:00 followed by 1 x week 1400 – 22:00, followed by 1 x week 22:00 – 06:00

ATA are supporting a global business at their new automated facility based just south of east midlands airport in Castle Donington. The multibillion-pound corporation operate across 200 countries worldwide and have an impressive 50 facilities in the UK, supporting multiple industries such as Ecommerce, logistics, capital, and specialised transportation. This site in Leicestershire has been specifically designed with the latest automated technology to allow for the large-scale distribution of packages around the world. They are now looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join their team.
About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for ensuring all automated plant machinery is always running efficiently as possible.
- 75% of your day will be completing multiskilled maintenance activities such as fault finding, PPM, breakdown cover and completing remedial repair work.
- 25% of your time will be to working with the PLC system – fault finding, interrogation & plugging in with a laptop
The site is controlled by Siemens PLCS 1200 & 1500 range.
About you
To be considered for this maintenance Engineer opportunity you must have the following;
- Previous experience working as a within a similar capacity.
- Experience with Siemens PLC systems
- Experience with TIA portal
- A recognised engineering qualification
