Maintenance Engineer duties:
Your role as a Maintenance Engineer:
Carrying out reactive maintenance on production equipment and machines across all the production facilities. The role will be 50% reactive and 50% PPM driven. You will be encouraged to have a direct input into the continuous improvement culture and have individual project ownership as you grow your career within the company. You will be working with the main production line equipment this will include hydraulic presses and heavy-duty machinery.
- Working on Hydraulic and pneumatic.
- Replacing components like for like on large heavy industrial equipment.
- Fault finding mechanically on all factory equipment.
- Reading equipment drawing.
- Following weekly and monthly PPM plans.
- Welding and fabricating parts when required.
To be a successful maintenance engineer you must have a year’s + experience in this is role or similar.
Mechanical maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent.
