Job Title – Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) (Days)
Location – West Yorkshire
Salary - £30-32k (plus overtime)
Shift – Monday to Friday
The Company
My client who are in the Process Plant industry are on the lookout for an electrically biased engineer to work days at one of their sites in West Yorkshire. They have multiple sites across UK, EU with over 500 employees in the UK. They have some of the largest customers within various industries such as chemicals and oil. The turnover of the business has been stable, along with the profit margins over the last 5 years, but now looking to ramp this up through a thorough continuous improvement and lean manufacturing program. This will also free up manufacturing capacity through greater line availability, allowing them to tender for further business.
The Role
- Implement effective maintenance and project work that fit within their safety and quality standards in a timely manner
- Assist in improving plant performance
- Dealing with both planned and preventative/predictive maintenance
- Provide first-hand support to fault diagnosis to root cause
Required Skills:
- IT literate
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance of electrical, instrument, control systems within a hazardous environment
- Qualified to a minimum Level 3 – HNC/ONC
- HNC electrical, instrument and control engineering (desirable)
