We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader to work for a sucessful manufacturing FMCG company who supply for a range of industries. With numerous sites across the UK, they are growing continiously year on year resulting in large amounts of investment/machinery being put into the Northamptonshire site. With such sucess, they are looking to welcome a Maintenance team leader to the team.
As a Maintenance Team Leader you will be expected to:
- Manage a team of up to 10 maintenance engineer
- Implement new projects and installations
- Support junior engineers/apprentices with their development
- Develop the skillset of the maintenance engineers
- Maintain and administer a CMM system, hand out PPM schedules to team members and set KPI’s against them.
- Take an active role in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvement across the site.
- Ensure all engineering plant records are kept up to date daily.
- Investigate all plant and machinery breakdowns where necessary to determine root cause.
The candidate
- The successful candidate will hold an NVQ / City & Guilds level 3 or above qualification within engineering, mechanical or electrical bias.
- To hold experience within a fast pace environment. It would be advantageous if this was within a manufacturing FMCG environment.
- To have experience as a maintenance team leader.
- To have implemented / Maintained a CMM system with strong systems background.
- It would be advantageous to have Pirana experience.
