Maintenance Team Leader / Lead Engineer
£37,000 + Pension + Paid OT
Shifts: 06:00-14:00
Based in West Yorkshire
The Company:
Part of a huge manufacturing group with multiple plants across the North of England. This site manufacture and process bespoke kitchen units for customers all over the UK. Due to continued growth, they have created a new role within the business for a maintenance team leader.
The Role:
Reporting to the group maintenance manager your role will be to lead a small maintenance team within a fast paced fully automated manufacturing environment.
- The successful maintenance team leader will be working a Monday to Friday early shift 6-2
- This is a hands-on role and involves managing a team as well as maintaining the plant and machinery onsite.
- The machinery onsite includes CNC saws and edge banders, assembly lines, conveyors and wrapping machinery.
- You will be leading a settled and experienced team
- You will conduct planned and reactive maintenance as well as plan work for the team
- Working closely with the maintenance manager to develop maintenance strategies for the site aimed at improving efficiencies and reducing machine downtime
Required Experience:
The Maintenance Team Leader must be apprentice trained and hold an NVQ 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering
You must have management/supervisory experience within a factory maintenance environment
You must be flexible in your approach to work
