Materials Controller, £28.5k, Mon-Friday 39 hours
Fixed term 12-month contract

ATA are supporting a large manufacturing group at one of their flagship sites in the west Peterborough area. The fully automated site which has been standing in the heart of the community for over 40 years, are on track to have their best year to date, targeting to produce 110 million units by the end of 2021. The company employ over 2000 staff across the country and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. With a turnover eclipsing £400 million the business is going from strength to strength and are set to grow even further in 2022.
About the role
As a materials controller you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the flow of materials around the site.
- Managing the safe and correct storage of materials.
- Keeping an inventory of materials.
- Deal with any stock discrepancy.
- Ordering of materials.
- Track and tracing of materials from suppliers.
- Support annual inventory checks.
- Raising and chasing PO numbers.
About you
As a materials controller you should be/have the following:
- Experience working as materials controller/planner
- Experience within manufacturing
- Strong organisation skills
- Be a good communicator
- Computer literate
