Process equipment manufacturer – Burton Upon Trent
Contract role, £20 - £25 per hour Umb
1 month contract with possible extensions.
This well-established process manufacturer is the market leader in its sector and following some significant project wins, they are going through a rapid growth phase. The design team are now starting to work on several new projects for their major clients, workload has increased and there is a real need to maintain the quality of product that it delivers. As a result, this company needs to recruit a CAD Draughtsperson to help with a conversion project immediately on a contract basis. The role of a CAD Draughtsperson will involve:

Mechanical detailing in 2D /3D AutoCAD & CADworx

All pre-engineering is done, solely responsible for producing 2D layout drawings
- Layouts of piping, ISO's, P&ID’s and ancillary equipment
- Conversion of 2D drawings on AutoCAD into Microstation
- Produce Bills of Material in conjunction with the drawings
- Liaise with internal teams
The CAD Draughtsperson will need to have the following experience:

Mechanical Draughtsperson with AutoCAD 2D & 3D experience

Experience completing detailed piping layout drawings, ISO drawings and 3D models

Capability to layout conveyors and other machinery in an effective and methodical way
- Creative ability and hardworking
