Mechanical Fitter
Letchworth / Hertfordshire
3 Months Contract with Potential Permanent Position - £11-13 p/h.
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Our client is an ever-expanding business with a new site. Established since 1997, they design and manufacture Multi-Stage Ultrasonic Cleaning and Coating Systems, providing solutions globally across a variety of industries e.g., watches, glasses. Our company works with glass materials mainly. The role of a Mechanical Fitter will involve working from:
- Piping Schematics
- Working from 3D and 2D models and drawings
- Manufacturing Drawing
- P&ID’s / PFD Drawings
Building the sub-assemblies – this could be assembling valves on to a block / manifold, piping (plastic and stainless steel), valves and valve timing, pumps, and tanks for the system etc.
Building from the ground up or working on parts of the machine.
Also, could be assembling the robots.
The Mechanical Site Fitter will need the following skills
- Mechanical Fitter Experience essential
- Can read Pneumatic Systems
- Able to work as part of a team
- Can Assemble from component level up
- Reliable and hard working. Willing to grow and progress with company
- Bespoke SPM background
- Independent with initiative
