The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of automated production machinery, including conveyors, presses, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Key duties include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Maintaining conveyors, bearings, motors, pumps and gearboxes
- Supporting continuous improvement projects
- Working within a large, supportive engineering team
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, industrial or heavy engineering environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
