Our client is a global, manufacturer of lifting and material processing products. Our client is part of many industries from Construction to quarrying and mining. Despite Covid-19 the company managed to turnover £20M. Our client manufactures many products (Crushers, Forklift General Large engineering equipment Mining and quarrying equipment – yellow goods). Being a major player in the industry our client is looking to expand over the next few years. This role is ideal for someone who would like to progress within a global organisation. The role of a Mechanical Site Fitter will involve the following
- Working as part of a “Production Line” making sub- assemblies for crushers or building a full machine
- Each day can vary no day is the same – a parts pack will be supplied from stores with an engineering drawing
- The use of hand tools, cranes and hydraulic tools
- £13.50 p/h. 6.30am – 2.30pm (Monday – Thursday) 6.30am – 2pm (Friday)Overtime paid at 1.5x
- Contract length – 6 Months with potential to become permanent
The Mechanical Site Fitter will need the following skills
- Mechanical Fitter – 2 years’ Experience essential
- Has worked in a Heavy engineering / manufacturing environment
- Good work ethic
- Able to work as part of a team
- To get to the site on their own
- Reliable and hard working. Willing to grow and progress with company
