The company
An exciting opportunity has become available working for one of the leading heavy manufacturers in the UK. The company are looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join their Desford site, one of their 15+ successful sites across the UK. This site specifically being fully automated and their newest site of all sites within the UK.
The role
As a mechanical maintenance engineer your role will include:
- Fault finding within reactive work
- PPM work to reduce breakdowns and minimise and downtime
- Installation and upgrade work to all machinery
- Continually maintaining upkeep of health and safety practices when all work is carried out
About you
The ideal mechanical maintenance engineer for this role would be:
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment on heavy plant machinery
- Experience working on PPM’s and reactive work to reduce machine downtime
- A level 3 recognisable engineering qualification
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
