Our client is a large, multi-site UK business, manufacturing construction products, as part of a large acquisitional company. This site is a new, highly technologically advanced and efficient manufacturing site, and have a very broad range of products compared to its competitors. The company’s current aim is to become number one in the market throughout Europe. There is now a requirement for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the site. The role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following:
- Mechanical Maintenance of all equipment and automated machinery
- Equipment includes:
- Overhead Cranes
- Robotics
- Mixing and Curing Machinery and more.
- Utilising CMMS for all scheduled maintenance
- 90% Reactive Maintenance / 10% Proactive Maintenance
- Replacing components such as bearings, chains, and conveyors.
- Shift Pattern: 8-5 (flexible)
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will need the following:
- Mechanical Qualification (City and Guilds, HNC, HND etc.)
- Fault Finding Experience
- Mechanical Installation
- Experience working in heavy engineering
- Hard Working
- Team Player
