Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

We are currently recruiting for the largest single site distribution centre in the UK at 3 million square foot. Due to growth and site expansion, they have already completed phase 1 with phase 2 being completed in November this year and are now requiring an additional Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee a team of highly skilled maintenance engineers.

The primary function of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is to support the production department throughout the provision of planned and daily maintenance on equipment’s such as conveyors, shuttle systems, auto baggers, packing equipment and much more. The engineering department currently operate a rotating continental shift pattern of 05:50-17:50 with the occasional overtime.

To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer role, you must possess the following:

  • Recognised Electrical or Multi Skilled Engineering Qualification
  • Must be able to hit ground running
  • Experience with Fault diagnosis on Electrical basis with 30-40% mechanical
  • Industry experience within FMCG/automation distribution would be advantageous
  • Flexible in your working hours – able to help the business out on seasonal demands
