Monday – Friday days position (Every Other Saturday)

My client is market leading within the manufacture and supply of agricultural products to a variety of industries. Due to consistent sustainable growth they’re looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a temp to perm basis to join their long standing, family feel team.
What will the day to day responsibilities of the maintenance engineer be?
- Maintaining a variety of machinery including Conveyors, Augers, Presses, Shredders, Check weighers, Silos and more .
- 75% of faults will be mechanical including gear boxes, motors , drivers, jammed conveyors ext…
- Adhering to a PPM schedule and suggesting continuous improvement plans.
- Ensuring all breakdowns are reviewed and suggest changes to reduce future occurrences
- Basic PLC Work including Fault finding on HMI’s
- Working hours of Monday to Friday 8 – 4 and every other Saturday 8 – 2
What is expected from you as the Maintenance Engineer?
- Previous experience working within a similar industry
- Engineering Qualification or Apprentice Trained (Preferred)
- Experienced Maintenance Engineer with experience working on some of the above machinery
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience fault finding on PLC’s
- Experience using Pneumatics
