Production operative, £20,000 Measham, Days,
Our client specialises in the manufacturing of products for the construction market. With over 20 manufacturing sites across the UK, this multi-million-pound company have been investing heavily across both their production and quarry sites to help meet an ever-increasing market demand for construction materials. Their site in Measham is one of the most bespoke sites you will come across, with very little companies in the UK being set up to provide this extremely skilled manufacturing process.
The Production operative will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production lines. You will be working towards hitting the teams Daily, Weekly and Monthly Production KPIs and working towards the groups LEAN manufacturing goal.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
• Physically fit
• Be able and comfortable lifting weights of over 20kg
• Be happy working in an industrial environment
• * IOSH – Working Safely training
• * NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing Operations
• * Manual Handling training
• * Counter-balance truck training
*Desirable however not essential, as these will be mandatory, and training will be given over the first 12 months of employment.
