I am recruiting for a key client, who are a major manufacturing organisation into the construction and heavy building industries. They operate a number of sites across the UK and are the market leader in their sector.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Production Operatives/Labourers to join their busy production team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a very good opportunity for the successful candidate, looking for a role with a company that invests in their staff and offers opportunities for progression.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
v Building and cleaning up moulds
v Fitting of components
v Pouring concrete and finishing units
v Loading and unloading Wagons
v General labour and housekeeping duties
v Ensuring Health & Safety policies are followed
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Able to complete manual labour in outdoor conditions
v The ability to work calmly under pressure
v Ability to work on own initiative
v Good communication skills
v Hard working and enthusiastic
v Good time management and organisational skills
v Additionally, the following would be beneficial; FLT Licence, experience of forklift or overhead crane operation.
v Ideally qualified with GCSE English, Maths and ITC equivalent to Grade C or above
