Project Engineer – Hygienic Process
Based in South Derbyshire – 6 Month Contract Minimum
£325 - £375 per day – Ltd Company – Outside IR35
This market leading systems integrator is currently on a steep growth curve, having managed to win several major projects in the last few months, they are now currently in a position where they need to expand their project team to ensure that they can deliver the projects on time and to budget. This role of a Project Engineer will include the following:
- Specify a wide range of equipment required for the project including valves, actuators, pumps, pipework, fabrications, vessels, tanks
- Performing engineering calculations where required
- Go out to tender with suppliers and secure the best quality product for the best price
- Manage the design workflow to make sure modelling is accurate
- Project planning and managing the suppliers to this plan
- May be required to supervise the installation of the system and the sub-contractors who are on site
- Lead the technical aspects project from cradle to grave and resolve any issues as they arise
The Project Engineer must possess the following skills & experience:
- Previous lifecycle project engineering experience within a hygienic environment such as food, pharmaceutical, healthcare, brewing, distilling, FMCG
- Familiarity of working with equipment specification from a P&ID
- Able to perform engineering calculations
- A strong ability to plan and organise
