Project Engineer – Materials Handling Equipment
£40k - £45k + Company Bonus
Based near Market Harborough, Leicestershire – Immediate Start
This well-established business has produced an excellent performance over the last 12 months despite the market conditions and they are currently looking to continue that growth over the next few years. As a result, this company are currently looking to add a permanent Project Engineer to add to their Engineering team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Projects will include a wide range of equipment including large fabrications, heavy conveyors, and moving mechanical parts.
- Responsible for all technical aspects of the project
- Will complete the manufacturing drawings and 3D models in Solidworks and AutoCAD
- Creating BOM’s for the whole project
- Site based surveys and measuring up
- Project planning and managing the suppliers to this plan
- May be required to supervise the installation of the system and the sub-contractors who are on site
- Projects range from £100k to £1m
The Project Engineer must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Experienced project engineer with that has worked with heavy fabricated products
- Capable design engineer that has capability to produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D Models in Solidworks.
- Worked with Special purpose machinery, materials handling equipment or conveyors
- Excellent communicator that is capable of dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
