Project Engineer (Electrical) – Swadlincote
£30 - £35 p/h (Umbrella/LTD)

Job role:
- You will be managing and supervising the electrical installation Sub-Contractor, ensuring that quality and specifications are delivered in the agreed timescales, organizing shutdowns and work permits
- Evaluation of the electrical installation and control panels quotations
- Procurement and management of control panel manufacture
- Procurement and management of electrical installations
- Participate in the procurement of instrumentation
- Ensure project work conforms to ISO 9001:2015 and Project Lifecycle Procedures
- Attend and contribute to regular project meetings
- FAT of electrical control panels before delivery to site
- Production of RAMS for all electrical works
- Management of variations from the electrical installation sub-contractor
- Carry out electrical dry testing including setting up of instrumentation, VSD’s and process equipment
- You will be conducting site surveys of existing equipment requiring upgrading or integrating with new equipment
- You will be designing the control system from detailed Customer’s specifications and drawings
- You will be producing specifications for the procurement of electrical installations and control panels
- You will be producing PLC I/O lists, PLC hardware layouts, control panel electrical schematics, block electrical schematics, cable schedules and termination schedules using AutoCAD Electrical
You must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
- Design and Project skills
- Panel design, automation, install and commissioning experience.
- Experience working with subcontractors
