Project Manager – Hygienic Process
Based in South Derbyshire – 6 Month Contract Minimum
£400 - £450 per day – Ltd Company – Outside IR35
This market leading systems integrator is currently on a steep growth curve, having managed to win several major projects in the last few months, they are now currently in a position where they need to expand their project team to ensure that they can deliver the projects on time and to budget. Working on high tech projects across different industries, this is an opportunity to manage the complete project lifecycle in a challenging environment. This role of a Project Manager will include the following:
- Overseeing the commercial aspects of the project from start to finish
- Responsible for the scope, cost, performance, and delivery of the project against the formulated schedule and budget
- Project size ranging from £5m - £10m
- Running the project from start to finish – kick-off meetings, project planning, progress meetings
- Problem solving, dealing with any project delivery issues including time and cost
- Responsible for all material and labour costs
- Negotiation on any variation on deliverables and cost changes
- Dealing with the client on any commercial issues
The Project Manager must possess the following skills & experience:
- Previous lifecycle project management experience within a hygienic environment such as food, pharmaceutical, healthcare, brewing, distilling, FMCG
- Familiarity of working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Capable of solving a wide range of commercial issues
- A strong ability to plan projects and organise delivery
- Able to move projects along at pace and lead a team
- Experienced in cost-control, negotiation, problem solving, confrontation and influencing
