Your location: The ideal candidate will be home based anywhere between the M62 down to the M25 (Central England)


Territory: Central England


The role of the Sales Manager will be as follows:



  • To focus on generating new business sales in the municipal market (water utilities and contractors)
  • 100% new business with existing relationships selling a new range of water products
  • Selling a range of bespoke systems costing between £50,000-£150,000 you will be targeted to grow your territory by a minimum 10% YOY (currently worth £3m)
  • Meeting customers face to face to understand current and future projects
  • Conduct “Lunch & Learn Sessions” with Consultants and Engineers within the water sector to sell the features and benefits of my client’s systems
  • This is a highly proactive new business sales role albeit, with existing relationships you will be required to sell new technologies to improve their processes
  • Territory planning, client mapping and performing client presentations
  • Develop lead generation plans and a pipeline that delivers new business
  • To receive and qualify RFQ’s, obtain technical information and coordinate all quotes via the internal Application, Sales and Technical Support Teams
  • Lead all price and contract negotiations using a pricing matrix
  • Plan and conduct complex negotiations with new customers
  • Lead and manage all sales and marketing initiatives to promote your business services


The ideal Sales Manager will have a combination of the following:



  • A new business sales professional with a proven track record in new business sales across the municipal, water and or wastewater market sector
  • A suitable technical qualification is highly desirably
  • EU licence and willing to travel extensively
  • The ideal candidate will live between M62 and M25 (Central England)
